Tag pages say “No matches found.”

Hello, I created few tags on admin and tagged some products. So tags are shown like this in product pages;

    Product Tags
    Other people marked this product with these tags:
    my tag(2), my tag2(5)

Each tag’s name is a link, so I expected tagged products are listed on the tag page when I clicked the tag name.

But the tag page says;

    Products tagged with ‘my tag’
    No matches found.

I have no idea why the page doesn’t show tagged products. I cleared cache in case the cache caused this, but nothing was changed.
Could someone help me please?

Solution
just got to index manager and re-index

Move ‘My Cart’ from top-links to new block

In app/design/frontend/default/default/template/page/html/header.phtml add the following code:

<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('cart_link_container') ?>

in the page.xml add the following code:

<block type="page/html_header" name="header" as="header">
.
.
.
            <block type="page/template_links" name="cart_link_container" as="cart_link_container">
                <block type="checkout/links" name="cart_link">
                    <action method="addCartLink"></action>
                </block>
            </block>
.
.
.
</block>

Magento: Remove white space around product images

Alright, the file that I needed to edit was:
list.phtml
In list.phtml there are two sections. One that says //List Mode// and one that says //Grid Mode//. Under both sections you need to add
keepFrame(false)
just before the resize code. I found it in my version on line 47 (list mode) and line 91 (grid mode).
I have included the code from line 91 below to show my small change of adding keepFrame(false)
here it is:

<a href="<?php echo $_product->getProductUrl() ?>" title="<?php echo $this->htmlEscape($this->getImageLabel($_product, 'small_image')) ?>" class="product-image"><img src="<?php echo $this->helper('catalog/image')->init($_product, 'small_image')->keepFrame(false)->resize(135); ?>" alt="<?php echo $this->htmlEscape($this->getImageLabel($_product, 'small_image')) ?>" /></a>

Remember to remove

width="135" height="135"

attributes from the img tag

Magento: JM Products Slider

On my slider(JM Products Slider) the “Number of Element” is 4 on the row and the “Qty of products” is 20. when I click on the “previous” or “next” buttons, it just shift one product I want to shift all the four products!!! How can I do that????

by changing this code:
scroll: 1,
to
scroll: 4,
in /skin/frontend/default/default/joomlart/jmproductsslider/js/jcarousellite_1.0.1_custom.js

Favicon improvement for easyshop theme

jm_easyshop template doesn’t use the favicon.ico configured in the admin page (system->configuration->general->design->header). So, we cannot have 2 websites with jm_easyhsop look and different favicon.

I did a simple change in app/design/frontend/default/jm_easyshop/template/page/html/head.phtml for using this configured favicon :

I replaced :

<link rel="icon" href="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('favicon.ico') ?>" type="image/x-icon" />
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('favicon.ico') ?>" type="image/x-icon" />

by :

<link rel="icon" href="<?php echo $this->getFaviconFile(); ?>" type="image/x-icon" />
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="<?php echo $this->getFaviconFile(); ?>" type="image/x-icon" />

these 2 lines comes from the default magento head.phtml

404 Error going to CMS > Manage Pages

The only problem I’m having is that when I try to get to CMS > Manage Pages from the Admin Panel I receive a 404 error.

Found a solution for this that works in my scenario. Take a peak in your `cms_page_store` SQL table. You’ll more than likely see one or more entries there for stores that no longer exist. In my case, I had a page_id of 2 (Home Page) that had entries for store id 1, 2 and 3. Since I deleted stores with ID of 2 and 3, those cms_page_store relations were no longer valid.

I simply removed the two offending entries from this table and now CMS/Manage Pages works properly in the admin.

Not sure if there are any other references to these now missing stores anywhere else in the database, but I can only imagine they would be dealt with in a similar manner.

Seems like those relations should be toasted automagically when the store view is deleted via ‘Manage Stores’??
